Concealing dark circles can be a tricky task. The wrong concealer can draw attention to your bags and wrinkles which defeats the purpose.
The main purpose of concealer is to hide unwanted flaws like acne, dark circles, and age spots. You want your concealer to give the appearance of flawless skin.
Procedure:
Find the right shade. By matching concealer to your skin tone you can avoid a white cakey look
Moisturize your skin. This is important as you can get a very dry parched look. And by midday you find your makeup is caking and flaking and the concealer may not stick to your skin.
Build slowly. The concealer is buildable, meaning you can add more to get heavier coverage. I
Use a small brush to apply and then gently use your ring finger to pat. The heat from your finger breaks it down so it works better.
I put concealer on after my moisturizer, then foundation makeup and then put a small amount of concealer and blend and blend.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. Considered one of the best especially for mature skin. $32.00. Can be found at most department stores including Sephora and Ulta.
Cle de Peau Beaute Concealer. This is high end concealer. Try it if you want to splurge but I don’t think it is that outstanding for the outstanding price tag of $75.00. It can be found at stores such as Nordstrom’s, Saks etc.
Drug store Products:
For a less expensive choice and excellent product try Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Concealer. $8.00 – $9.00 at most drugstores.
